The main goal of the international contest "Our Generation" is to develop and support young talented authors and performers, to popularize their creativity, as well as to preserve and develop national cultures of the world.
During the contest, special attention will be paid to the educational program, which will include high cultural values for the formation of the right potential of the young generation. The contest gives an opportunity to children and youth from all over the world to get acquainted with the rich musical history of Russia, as well as with the musical history and culture of the participating countries, to exchange creative experience, to establish and strengthen friendly relations between the countries.
Applications from both Russian and international participants are accepted until August 1, 2023. There is no limit to the number of applications from participating countries.
According to the rules, the song has to be written by the contestant or he/she has to get involved in creating the song. It is also important to note that the song must either be written entirely in the national language or contain no more than 40% of the lyrics in the languages of the participating countries.
